Integrated editing and compositing from Media 100

Media 100, have announced a product-line expansion of their award-winning 844/X editing system for lightning-fast compositing of unlimited layers.
The affordably priced 844/Xi targets the marketplace of dual stream editors, by giving them integrated real-time compositing and myriad real-time effects possibilities, integrated with powerful editorial capabilities.
844/Xi utilises the Company's breakthrough GenesisEngine media supercomputer to process four streams-two video paired with two full-motion alpha-simultaneously, in real time. The new 844/Xi system, which also includes the same application software and Intelligent Layering Architecture (ILA) as the original 844/X product, launched in February 2002, will be available in December 2002.
