Bollywood Mania Unleashed Once More In August

Indian cinema’s A-list superstar, Akshay Kumar, makes a welcome return to the big screen in his latest offering, 'Heyy Babyy', releasing in cinemas internationally on 24 August 2007 through integrated media and entertainment company and leading global distributor of Bollywood cinema, Eros International.
Heyy Babyy combines all the ingredients of another runaway success for Bollywood cinema’s hottest property. As if 2007 hasn’t already seen Akshay Kumar dominate the Indian film industry on a global level, following the colossal Box Office success of Namastey London and his show-stealing stage performance alongside UK-based Bhangra troupe, RDB, at the IIFA Awards in Yorkshire, Akshay once again proves his infinite talents as a Bollywood all-rounder.
Heyy Babyy draws inspiration from the 1987 classic, 'Three Men And A Baby', and brings together the crème of Bollywood talent, headed by Akshay Kumar, who joins forces with charming lead lady Vidya Balan and sidekicks Fardeen Khan and Riteish Deshmukh in one of this summer’s most eagerly anticipated film releases, shot on location in Australia, France and India.
Combining the gifted directing talents of Sajid Khan with the production expertise and industry prowess of Sajid Nadiadwala, Heyy Babyy is an endearing romantic comedy with the winning formula to become summer 2007’s biggest cinema success story.
In relation to what is predicted to be this summer’s biggest Bollywood hit, Akshay commented: ‘I am extremely proud of Heyy Babyy. It is quite unlike any other film that I have done, and it was a great challenge to achieve the perfect combination of sensitivity and humour. I feel my colleagues from the industry and I have done a great job on this film and I have full faith that audiences will go and see it several times over.”
