FremantleMedia Enterprises Deal With CAV Warner Entertainment For 'Prehistoric Park'
FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) has announced a ground-breaking home entertainment deal for 'Prehistoric Park' in China, struck with CAV Warner Entertainment Co., a joint venture between Warner Home Video and China Audio & Video Publishing House.
Amrita Sindhu, Vice President, Asia, Home Entertainment clinched the deal, the first of its kind under which FME programming will be released via a Hollywood studio’s distribution arm. Prehistoric Park will take advantage of CAV Warner’s extensive distribution channels to gain penetration across China.
Created by multi award-winning UK independent producers, Impossible Pictures, the 6 x 60’ Prehistoric Park is fronted by natural historian Nigel Marven and embraces the latest CGI technology as he travels back in time to rescue some of the most amazing animals who ever roamed the earth.
With the series currently on air in China on CCTV, CAV Warner has launched the DVD in the territory to tap into the huge brand awareness within the market. Six single-episode DVDs with a Prehistoric Park collectible case, plus a six-episode boxset will be available.
