HHB FlashMic Recorder Sales Boom

Sales of the FlashMic are booming as HHB’s revolutionary all-in-one portable recording device fast becomes the recorder of choice for broadcasters, print journalists, podcasters, voiceover artists, corporate and public sector users around the world.
Now FlashMic sales look set to grow even more strongly as HHB announces a price reduction of approximately 25% on both the omni-directional DRM85 and cardioid DRM85-C models, facilitated by higher manufacturing volumes and the falling price of Flash memory.
Users cite the convenience of a broadcast-quality Flash recorder with USB drag and drop file-transfer built into the body of a studio-quality condenser microphone as the FlashMic’s primary advantage over conventional recording devices.
The BBC World Service, RAI Italy, Al Jazeera, Swiss Radio, Sydney Radio, WRD Germany and ORF Austria are just some of the many broadcasters that have already taken the decision to issue FlashMics to their reporters.
"We received an overwhelming response to the FlashMic at NAB, where we launched the new DRM85-C cardioid model in direct response to requests from US broadcasters," comments HHB Managing Director Ian Jones. "We’re happy to pass our economies of scale on to customers, and look forward to the FlashMic user base growing even more quickly as a consequence."
