The video switchers on show are all from the market-leading Hanabi range and include the all-in-one low cost, high performance, custom-built HVS-500HS, the new HVS-1000HS 1M/E with the main unit fitting into just 2RU and with two control panels available for live operation and editing, and the HVS-3800HS 2M/E with 3D DVEs, colour correction, a wide range of options for future compatibility.
The FRC-7000 HD frame rate converter includes motion compensation processing based on motion vectors to provide probably the best pictures in the business – including smooth and clear conversion of moving objects. Conversion is available between all broadcast frame rates including 23.98PsF. Other features include scene cut detection as well as test signals and audio support.
FA-9000 is the next-generation multi-purpose signal processor offering a wide-ranging package for conditioning video, digital and analogue and in all formats for direct use in a facility. Besides frame synchronisation, using 12-bit internal processing for high quality images, more available features include up-conversion, down-conversion, colour correction, median-based noise reduction, logo generator and audio handling including a Dolby E decoding.
