Reflecmedia Launch Of 3D Rendering MoViSet At NAB

Chroma key specialist, Reflecmedia, will launch its comprehensive real time 3D rendering package MoViSet at NAB 2007.
Developed in conjunction with Rt Software, Reflecmedia have developed a solution to create a product line of modular 'studio in a box' virtual studio systems. Based on a single high end PC work station the MoViSet virtual studio system will allow users with limited facilities the access to a simple to use high production value virtual set design system.
The MoViSet computer is linked to feedback from pan, tilt, zoom and focus sensors mounted on the camera. This allows the camera operator to frame the foreground image whilst the custom software tracks these movements and manipulates the 3D background model in real time.
Designed to be modular, MoViSet is available in three levels so that users are provided with scalable options. Customers can add upgrades as determined by market growth and technical demand to a full 3D real-time broadcast solution, building and learning as they go. MoViSet software is a unique simple to use powerful tool for creating high production value virtual studio environments. By reducing both price and setup complexity it increases the accessibility of VR to producers in all markets.
Reflecmedia will also be showing ChromaFlex EL at NAB 2007. Especially designed for customers such as those in the education sector, the ChromaFlex EL system does not have to be permanently positioned, so is very versatile and consists of a 1.4m x 1m (4ft x 3ft) collapsible Chromatte screen, LiteRing (to attach to the camera), controller, power supply and adapter - all easily transported in its own bag. New products for camera and lighting teams include the Push-On Adapter kit which enables the user to attach the LiteRing to lenses such as film primes or HD wide angles and other lenses that do not have a filter thread, and the Matte Box Rails Adaptor which offers an attachment solution for the medium LiteRing.
Also available for demonstration at the show will be Basematte which meets the demand from customers to have products for head to foot keying. Made from Chromatte fabric and intended to be used specifically on the floor, the rubberised backing prevents the product from slipping, enables it to be rolled up (and is crease free when unrolled) and, when placed against a curtain of Chromatte, provides the user with a keyable 'Infinity Studio'.
Reflecmedia has also developed Chromatte Tape, which can be used to repair rips or damage in the cloth or join sections together for wide or tracking shots.
