Derry Tale Off To New York Craic Film Festival

Vinny Cunningham’s 'No Go: The Free Derry Story' has been selected for the film strand of the New York Craic Film Festival which runs from 6 to 9 March.
The Craic Fleadh will host the US premiere of Cunningham’s documentary which also recently received a Best Documentary nomination at the IFTAs.
No Go: The Free Derry Story, is the follow-up to Vinny Cunningham’s award-winning 'Battle of the Bogside' and picks up where this film left off. Narrated by Bernard Hill, No Go takes viewers behind the barricades and into the nine surreal weeks of 1969 that have come to be immortalised as Free Derry.
The film is directed by Vinny Cunningham, Open Reel Productions, written by John Peto, edited by Kevin Murray, with photography by Mark McCauley and sound recording by Billy Gallagher’s. The music soundtrack for the film was composed by John O’Neill (The Undertones, That Petrol Emotion).
