Shanghai Noon For Golden Square

Golden Square, the London based post-production company, has announced that they will be the first UK post-production company to make their mark in China.
In a 50/50 partnership with Profero, the leading independent digital communications group, Goldensq Profero, will be based in Shanghai and support Asia’s growing demand for high-end moving content. Goldensq Profero will utilise Profero’s existing infrastructure, in-depth understanding of the marketplace and growing reputation in China and the rest of Asia. Ben Leyland, one of Golden Square’s experienced Video Designers, has already relocated to Shanghai. Ben’s responsibilities will also include recruitment of local talent and building on the existing client base.
The marketing industry in China is growing at a phenomenal rate, currently ranking as the third largest advertising economy in the world. Shanghai is at the hub of this explosion with an ever-growing population of 20 million people and all the big multi-national agencies including Ogilvy, JWT, BBH, Publicis already have a presence there. Goldensq Profero will provide these agencies with a unique service, previously unexploited in China, and with particular focus on the digital market.
