E-mediavision.com Provides BSkyB With X-View SD15 Series Multiviewers

e-mediavision.com has provided the X-View SD16 series multiviewers to UK satellite operator BSkyB for live sports, news and studio video signal monitoring.
New HD services and increased coverage of a number of sports and news events require an increase in the number of monitors to allow the operators to see all incoming and outgoing feeds. A traditional monitor stack was out of the question because space was restricted. e-mediavision.com designed a virtual monitor stack comprised of high-resolution flat-screen LCDs driven by a number of X-View SD series multiviewers.
The monitoring system could be located in a compact space, but was flexible enough to allow operators to reconfigure the wall at will by a simple push-button selection control of the X-View multiviewers.
Operators can select any of the 120 user layout patterns on each multiviewer, as well as monitor the status of the multiviewers and signal alarm conditions in real-time.
