Radica Broadcast Systems To Launch Media Logging Solutions At SBES

Radica Broadcast Systems has teamed up with empeg.pl to launch a new series of media logging solutions at the forthcoming SBES show in Birmingham later this month.
The Stirlitz Media Inspector is a powerful software tool that has the ability to recognise and match songs, commercials or other audio pieces to a database. Thanks to its advanced features, it can 'detect' media-bits as short as 0.5 seconds. ‘Fingerprints’ are taken from multiple places in the media file, so partial plays are also detected and reported as partial plays. The system can monitor hundreds of media streams simultaneously making results available instantaneously.
The Stirlitz Media Logger is a software based application compatible with almost every commercially available automation system that enables the user to record up to 128 separate sources simultaneously with facilities for interrogation, playback and FTP that enable easy archiving and podcast production. Most importantly, the application is built around the unique and user friendly Timeline, allowing users to access the program from wherever they are, in near real-time and from as far back as the log goes, without even thinking about individual file-names.
Rob Spiers, Sales and Marketing Director at Radica, said: “Radica are always looking for innovative and creative products to bring to market and we are delighted to team up with empeg.pl for these product launches. The Stirlitz Media Inspector is something quite unique: it can enable the user to build up a comprehensive picture of their station output together with the rotation and playlist of the competition.”
Both products will be on Stand 58 at the forthcoming SBES exhibition at the NEC, November 15-16, 2006.
Radica Broadcast Systems is a UK based radio broadcast transmission system provider and specialise in providing broadcast engineering services and equipment to the radio broadcast industry.
