Custom Consoles Limited now commercially independent

Custom Consoles Limited (CCL), one of Europe's leading manufacturers of control room furniture and equipment support housings, has announced that it has become a commercially independent company.
Established in 1996 as a subsidiary of broadcast systems integrator ATG Spectrum (renamed ATG Broadcast Ltd in 2001), CCL has broadened its scope over the years and is now strongly established in the process control, surveillance and architectural-support markets while retaining its core focus on bespoke, standard-design and modular television and radio studio desks.
CCL co-founder Neil Reed joins as full-time Managing Director, having previously worked for both enterprises in design and senior management roles.
He commented: "This development strengthens our position in the broadcast market by enabling us to expand our relationship with other systems integrators as well working directly for major clients."
Now in its 10th year, Custom Consoles Limited manufactures a broad range of studio and technical-support furniture including motorised, manually adjustable and fixed-height units plus fan-cooled sound-insulated equipment housings.
