XTV COMPLETES NEW TROUBLE IDENT

LONDON based design and production facility, XTV, has completed an impressive graphics based ident for the teenager orientated channel, Trouble.
The 3D animated action sequence features a computer generated character that spins and bounces around a surreal virtual environment, and eventually resolves into the Trouble logo.
The concept for the ident was devised by Trouble’s graphics manager, Stephanie Neely, and XTV designer, Zen Jepras.
The central character in the five second sequence was created from an initial design by Tobin Goffe of Flextech’s creative television department. The spherical figure was further developed and brought to life through skillful animation and compositing.
Jepras carried out all of the modelling and 3D work entirely in SoftImage with all compositing completed in After Effects.
The new branding ident will be aired from mid-August.
