Off The Fence announce co-production deal
Leading independent production and distribution company Off the Fence today announced a brand new co-production deal with one of the world’s foremost independent production companies, Paris-based Bonne Pioche.
The first project to emanate from the new partnership will be a one hour documentary entitled 'The Mole'. Scientific experts from France, Germany, Portugal and America will contribute to the programme, revealing the rather un-loved mole as something of an ingenious architect.
Utilising 2D and 3D animation, The Mole will unveil a telling portrait of an animal that dwells underground, digging to eat and eating to dig. Herein, however, lies the problem: the mole’s stomach is its Achilles heel. Every day it must eat its own weight in worms, slugs and white grubs – not to mention frogs, toads, sparrows and rodents! As Off the Fence and Bonne Pioche’s The Mole will show, it’s a race against time - if the creature doesn’t eat, it will die in less than seven hours.

Founded in 1993, Bonne Pioche develop and produce a variety of films, documentaries, TV series, magazines and commercials and is world renowned for developing and producing 'March of The Penguins' with director Luc Jacquet.
Off the Fence is currently producing and/or co-producing 40 hours of factual programming for its extensive factual catalogue, bound for distribution worldwide.
