Off The Fence Appoints New Head

News Image
An independent television distribution and production company, has announced the appointment of Georgina Eyre as Head of Acquisitions.
Georgina will work with the global Off The Fence (OTF) team to further expand the distributor's programme catalogue. She will be based in London.
Georgina joins OTF this month from Target Entertainment, where she was Acquisitions Manager for Factual and Entertainment programming. Prior to this she worked for OTF in acquisitions and business affairs.
During her time at rights consultancy business TVIP (set up to help indies retain their programming rights after the change in terms of trade) she brokered a variety of production, co-production, distribution and EU funding deals. This allowed her to broaden her knowledge of programme financing.
Georgina has also worked for the BBC Natural History Unit and The BBC Commercial Agency.
Bo Stehmeier, Director of Sales at Off the Fence said: "Georgina brings a wealth of experience as well as a love for factual programmes which we all share; she will be a great asset to the future of the company at this exciting time of growth and development."
Georgina added: "It’s fabulous to be rejoining Off the Fence's superb distribution team. My brief is to significantly increase the programme catalogue in all genres of factual programmes. OTF has some fantastic clients in the factual world, and I’m looking forward to working with them."
