Zonemedia names Moscow head

Zonemedia (formerly known as Zone Vision Networks) has appointed Vitaly Sufan as General Manager to run its successful Moscow office.
Vitaly will be responsible for Zonemedia's channel distribution activities in Russia, CIS and Ukraine, including its owned and operated channels, plus its representation clients.
A well-respected industry veteran, Sufan was formerly Deputy Chief Programming Officer at NTV-Plus in Moscow. He joined NTV-Plus at its inception in 1996 and has been responsible for acquiring and commissioning channels for the company's analogue and digital satellite business.
Mark Young, Commercial Sales Director, Zonemedia, commented: "I am very pleased that Vitaly has agreed to join us at a key time in our business development and I look forward to working with him to grow our operations across Russia, CIS and Ukraine. "
Vitaly Sufan added: "I have worked with Zone Vision (now Zonemedia) for many years and witnessed its growth and success. It is a great honour, a big responsibility and, I must admit, a challenge for me, considering the ever-increasing competition, to join this dynamic company known for its entrepreneurship. I am looking forward to contributing to the company’s success in the territories I am responsible for.”
