ANTON/BAUER POWERS OLYMPIC BROADCASTERS

ANTON/BAUER will again be providing battery systems, plus technical and product support for the world’s broadcasters during this year’s Summer Olympics in Sydney.
At the Olympics, Anton/Bauer will be operating a service facility in the Transit Centre at the International Broadcast Centre. This centrally located position will allow field personnel and cameramen easy access to Anton/Bauer technical staff and services, both before and during the Games.
Gerry Brown, Anton/Bauer’s Technical Marketing Manager (Europe) said: “This will be the fourth Olympic Games at which Anton/Bauer has had the exclusive programme to provide portable power to broadcasters. In 1992 in Barcelona, in 1994 in Lillehammer, and in 1996 in Atlanta, Anton/Bauer – as part of its co-operation with Panasonic – provided equipment and services at the International Broadcast Centres as well as designated venues.”
