Breathe Post Production Launches

Breathe Post Production launched recently from the amalgamation of post divisions at Strongroom and Air.
With a major investment in new technology Breathe will now offer a range of HD editing, graphics and finishing facilities at both its Hampstead and Shoreditch locations offering a one stop service for video and audio post production.
Following the multi-million pound purchase of Sir George Martin's Air Studios by Strongroom's owner Richard Boote, Breathe will combine Air's 15 years of experience in high-end audio for drama, film and games with Strongroom's extensive track record in DVD, documentary and advertising.
Air and Strongroom Music as well as Strongroom Hire and Management brands will remain the same.
Facilities at Breathe will now include 6 Avid and Apple Final Cut Pro edit suites, Avid Symphony Nitris on-line finishing, HD colour-grading and graphics suites and extensive audio post facilities including surround equipped dubbing suites, remote ADR capability, numerous sound design/track-lay suites and a foley stage. High-speed data links with secure servers will ensure easy exchange and delivery of data between both
premises and the client.
Breathe clients will also benefit from Air and Strongrooms' world class music services including a scoring stage, plus its restaurant and meeting rooms.
Former post production co-ordinator for Air, Sally Drury has been appointed Post Production Manager for Breathe. Her team include dubbing mixers Pip Norton, Paul Langwade, Benje Noble, dubbing editor Chris Nuttall and 5.1 DVD Specialist Ade Pressly. Breathe will also supply an extensive team of colourists, on-line specialists and off-line editors as required.
Owner and Director of Strongroom, Air Studios and Breathe Richard Boote commented: "I believe that bringing together our post production will allow our clients to benefit from an expanded and more varied pool of technological knowledge and experience, a wider choice of highly creative and experienced operators and access to a much broader range of state of the art video and audio post-production facilities."
The Pavement's Managing Director, Andy Evans, said: "I'm very excited to hear that Strongroom Post and Air Post are now joining together to form Breathe. Our creative partnership with Strongroom has been enormously successful in the five years that we have been working together, and has led to the production of many award winning DVD titles.
"Strongroom are a friendly, creative team and are always able to meet our diverse audio requirements, often at very short notice."
Breathe Post Production will be exhibiting at Broadcast LIVE from June 20-22 on stand A110.
