FILM MARKETING AND DISTRIBUTION TRAINING

MEDIA Business School has announced the inaugural edition of MD2000, a new training programme in the marketing and distribution of theatrical films, which will take place in Seville, Spain from October 17 to 21, 2000.
The second phase will take place in London from March 19 to 22, 2001, with the opportunity of an internship in one of United International Pictures (UIP) global network offices between these dates.
In collaboration with UIP, and with the support of the MEDIA Programme of the European Union, this training initiative represents a promising development in programmes, specifically targeted at European audiovisual professionals.
MD2000 seeks to build on the success of Media Business School training courses and the international recognition and know-how of UIP.
It aims to offer its participants the opportunity to expand their career horizons, to acquaint themselves with top-flight European professionals, and to gain first-hand knowledge of their working methods.
Executives from all sectors of the European film industry are invited to participate.
