TV One line-up expands with four new converters

TV One-task’s line-up is expanding to encompass two new down converters and two new up converters, which are based on TV One’s exclusive CORIO2 technology.
The units are hassle free with many automatic features that make conversion a breeze. Available in July, these units are priced from £445 (€654.15) to £615 (€904.05), and are an economic solution to any conversion need.
The 1T-C2-100 and 1T-C2-150 provide high-quality scan conversion from Computer or HDTV signals to standard video formats in a compact, easy to use unit. They can handle any computer resolution up to 2048x2048 at any vertical refresh rate and accommodate HDTV resolutions up to 1080p. Video outputs are switchable between PAL and NTSC and are simultaneously provided in Composite and S-Video. A PC loop-thru is also provided. The 1T-C2-150 has all the functions and features of the 1T-C2-100 in addition to Genlock, Chromakey and Lumakey.
The 1T-C2-200 and 1T-C2-250 provide high-quality up conversion from standard video formats to computer or HDTV signals and can accommodate computer output resolutions up to 2048x2048 at any vertical refresh rate and HDTV resolutions up to 1080p. Both PAL and NTSC video standards are supported and either Composite or S-Video inputs can be used. A computer bypass is also provided. The 1T-C2-250 Up Converter has all the functions and features of the 1T-C2-200 in addition to Genlock, Chromakey, Lumakey and mixing.
Features common to all four models include automatic resolution detection and the exclusive AutoSet® feature, which automatically sizes the image to fit the screen. Computer diversity is not an issue since PC, Mac and most Computer Workstation signals formats are accommodated. Variable Zoom can go up to 10x allowing any part of the computer screen to be enlarged while Variable Shrink can go down to 10 percent. Position controls allow movement around any desired area. Full bandwidth chroma sampling replicates high resolution colors.
All four units are controlled by the front panel Push Buttons, an Infrared Remote Control Unit or a RS-232 connection. A Windows Control Panel is provided and most third party control systems interface directly with the entire C2 range of products. An On-Screen Display is available to assist in setup. The units are housed in a compact desktop case and a single/dual rackmount kit is available as an option.
