NEW LONDON FACILITY SELECTS AMS NEVE
AMS Neves’ ‘DFC’ digital mixing console and AMS Neves’ ‘Libra Post’ post production system will be at the heart of a new Future Post facility in Soho due to open in November.
Future Post, part of the Future Film Group, will service the post-production needs of feature film productions that have been partly funded by the Future Film finance operation.
Future Post Head of Sound Peter Hodges said: “We will use our contacts to service independent feature, TV drama and documentary series for new and existing clients. We have enough rooms to provide several picture cutting rooms in addition to at least 5 sound editing rooms.
“We decided we had to go with a digital mixing system and we needed two consoles that were either the same or very similar in operation. AMS Neve has a long history of digital mixing and a reputation for excellent sound quality.”
The DFC and Libra Post room will be used on film projects, mostly for theatrical release although some will be for television. The consoles will also be utilised for international language versions.
