TV2000 EDUCATES GCSE MEDIA STUDENTS
This year’s annual television festival ‘TV2000’ will be held at the National Film Theatre in London.
Events scheduled for the festival include an introduction to television documentaries for GCSE students and screenings of past and present shows.
Steve Bryant, Keeper of Television, bfi Collections will be giving an overview of the history of television documentaries using extracts from materials held in the National Film and Television Archive for students.
Jeremy Mills Executive Producer of ‘Castaway 2000’ and Catherine Freeman Director of ‘I Love My Nails’ will also outline their particular approach to documentary filmmaking.
The educational sessions are aimed at students studying Media at GCSE and those sitting Controlled Test TV Documentaries.
The festival will be held September 29. For booking information Tel: 020 7957 8983.
