Celtic Film and Television Festival submission deadline nears

The Celtic Film and Television Festival heads to Falmouth, Cornwall in 2006 and next years' festival will take place from Wednesday 29 to Friday 31 March 2006.
But the deadline for submissions is fast approaching, and the closing date for the competition is Friday 4 November 2005.
The 2006 event will take place in Cornwall at the Tremough Campus, University College Falmouth. The venue offers state of the art facilities for broadcast, film studies, broadcast journalism and television production.
The campus is a short walk away from the ancient town of Penryn and five minutes by car to the centre of Falmouth.
Organisers say that holding the event at the Falmouth venue will offer delegates the best of Cornwall and at the same time the best facilities the festival could have hoped for 2006.
This is the event’s third visit to Cornwall, following the successes of St Ives in 1997 and more recently Truro in 2001.
Plans for the 2006 competition and conference programme are well in hand.
Tremough Campus is the central ‘hub’ of the Combined Universities in Cornwall (CUC) initiative, for Higher Education in Cornwall.
University College Falmouth is a leading player in this initiative and offered to share the modern facilities at Tremough with the University of Exeter, between the two campuses catering for around 1,500 students.
