IMC AND IBM PARTNERSHIP TO DELIVER COMPLETE STORAGE

INTERNATIONAL Multimedia Corporation (IMC), providers of business applications are partnering with IBM to deliver Storage 247, the industries first end-to-end managed real-time, on-line storage and data recovery solution.
Storage 247 will provide real-time disc access and ‘state-of-the-art’ near-line robotic tape archiving and retrieving facilities for media organisations that require rapid access to large data files.
Each function is offered on a pay-on-use basis and is targeted towards London’s Soho and City regions.
Situated at the top of the Centre Point Tower, London, local media and broadcast customers will be able to take advantage of wireless connectivity, using the latest line-of-site laser and microwave technology to provide real-time access.
IMC’s co-founder and C.E.O. Nigel Kilpatrick said: “We can combine data archiving and back-up with our unique capability of restoring the content in any file format back to the customer in real-time.
