Granada International names new Home Entertainment VP

Granada International has hired Brad Blain as its new Vice President, Home Entertainment, based in London, and is also set to appoint a home entertainment specialist in the US.
Blain, who will report to Tim Mutimer, GI’s Director of Sales, will join the company in May. He will be responsible for developing Granada International’s worldwide strategy to exploit its new and back catalogue programming across the home entertainment spectrum, including DVD sales, covermounts, interactive DVDs, and direct response deals with international publishers.
The North American appointment will be announced shortly.
Tim Mutimer commented: “We are delighted Brad will be joining us in London. We have identified that this significant part of the global programme sales market needs a dedicated and experienced strategist to obtain the very best from our outstanding back catalogue as well as our constant flow of new product. Brad has a massive depth of experience in this area of the business and I am sure he will be an asset to our expanding Home Entertainment team.”
Blain will join Granada International's Home Entertainment team, working alongside Simon Wheeler, Head of Home Entertainment and Mark Kirkpatrick, Senior Sales Executive. Blain is currently Commercial Manager at FremantleMedia Home Entertainment. Previously he was UK Sales Director at Acclaim, the US games publisher and prior to this, Sales Director at Carlton Home Entertainment.
