PINEWOOD TELEVISON OPT FOR STUDER D950 M2

THE Television Division of Pinewood Studios, one of Europe's leading studio complexes, has acquired a Studer D950 M2 Digital Mixing System for their first dedicated television facility.
The new 825 m2 digital television studio, due to be completed by mid-October 2000, will offer a fully-equipped on-site permanent television production facility alongside the world renowned movie facilities.
Steve Gunn, Executive Director of Television at Pinewood, said: "In building the definitive television facility for the 21st century, we recognize ever increasing demands on studio production. We are confident that the Studer M2's phenomenal flexibility offers us a major advantage in providing state of the art facilities to meet the demands of television production in the digital age."
Since its first presentation to potential customers in July 2000 and its official launch at the IBC 2000 Amsterdam, the Studer D950 M2 has been welcomed by the industry. The first Studer D950 M2 sold will be delivered to MBS Osaka, Japan, becoming the vital part of their new remote truck. Universal Studios Japan is the second facility in the Far East which has opted for the new M2 of the Studer D950 range of products.
Studer offer turnkey system solutions and complete broadcast houses based on a wide range of proprietary products including complex digital audio routing systems, digital mixing consoles and digital mixing systems using digital technology, analogue and digitally controlled analogue mixing consoles, radio automation systems, analogue and digital recorders and active studio monitors.
