GELLER NAMED SENIOR VP FOR SONY PDE

RON Geller has been appointed the Senior Vice President for Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment (SPDE), with the responsibility to expand SPDE’s online and interactive entertainment assets for European markets.
Based in London, Geller will be responsible for cultivating relationships with European Internet Service Providers, and will focus on developing and distributing interactive and enhanced television.
Yair Landau, President of SPDE, said: “We’re delighted that Ron is joining us. His background in business and development, combined with his experience in developing international television ventures for Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE), will be an asset as we extend our digital entertainment initiatives into the European markets.”
Geller joins SPDE from his position as Vice President of Corporate Development for SPE. He has been involved in the launch of SPE’s AXN television channel in Israel and other corporate-level transactions.
