TEKTRONIX RECEIVE SIXTH EMMY AWARD

TEKTRONIX, providers of video test, measurement and monitoring technology, have received their sixth Emmy award for ‘Outstanding achievement in television sciences technology’.
The award was given in recognition of their PQA200 Picture Quality Analysis product, a measurement tool for the development, manufacture and evaluation of compressed digital video equipment.

The PQA200 replaces time consuming and expensive human assessment with an alternative that provides fast accurate and repeatable picture quality measurements. It can be used for tasks including algorithm tuning, production line testing and other tasks requiring fast testing sequences and results available quickly.
The PQA200 Picture Quality Analysis System is based on pioneering picture quality analysis algorithms, utilising Sarnoff Corporation’s JNDmetrix ™ human vision model.
