SKILLSET LAUNCH MEDIA CAREER GUIDE

SKILLSET have published a career guide to the media industries ‘A Career Handbook for TV, Radio, Film, Video and Interactive Media’.
The book has been produced in consultation with the industry for people wanting to work, or progress in the media sector.
The book was partly funded by ITV and endorsed by the Advertising Film and Videotape Producers’ Association (AFVPA), BBC, Channel 4, Channel Five and the Producers Alliance for Cinema and Television (PACT).
Lord Puttnam of Queensgate, CBE, and Skillset’s Patron, said: “This book is one of a kind as it is the first publication to cover the whole industry in such detail. It’s an invaluable resource for those planning to work in the industry, and for those who already do and want to move their careers along. I can honestly say that this publication is the most important book on this subject ever to have emerged anywhere.”
‘A Career Handbook for TV, Radio, Film, Video and Interactive Media’ is priced £9.99 and is available from all good bookshops or online at www.skillset.org.
