ONDIGITAL LAUNCH NEW ONVIEW GUIDE

ONDIGITAL have launched a new interactive Electronic Programme Information Guide ONview.
Using Mheg technology, this free to air service will run alongside the existing ‘now and next’ on screen guide. The service allows viewers to access a range of information about programme, competitions and special offers.
Viewers will be able to navigate through a variety of sections giving them in-depth information on ONdigital’s exclusive coverage of the UEFA Champion’s League, with all the latest scores and match news, a guide to the best films, and TV highlights pages.
Dean Stockton, Director of Television for ONdigital, said: “ONview is an exciting development for ONdigital customers and another innovative service exclusive to our platform. The channel will allow viewers to access information on ONdigital programmes and channels whenever they like and we are pleased to be pioneering the future of digital broadcasting yet again.”
The service will also bring users information about ONrequest, the pay-per-view entertainment channel, and information about ONdigital products such as ONnet and ONmail and the latest celebrity gossip.
In the first few weeks of broadcasting ONview will also include competitions to win the latest digital television, a pair of tickets to the MTV Europe awards in Stockholm and a weekend in Lisbon to watch the finale of the ATP Masters Tennis Tournament.
