Chyron appoint Steve Ellis as VP of Worldwide Sales
Chyron has announced the appointment of Steve Ellis as Vice President of Worldwide Sales.
Formerly with Vizrt as Vice President of Sales for US and Canada and with Pinnacle Systems as Director of Sales for the U.S and Latin America, Ellis brings to Chyron a diverse and comprehensive understanding of the broadcast graphics marketplace.
Chyron's CEO Michael Wellesley-Wesley said: “Steve was a perfect choice for the position. His highly successful track record is a result of his expertise, contacts and technical knowledge of broadcast graphics. The addition of Steve to our team is a testimony to the growing momentum that Chyron is experiencing worldwide with our real-time, 2D and 3D graphics solutions for HD and SD production, and Steve will be instrumental in taking Chyron to the next level as we continue introducing new products and expanding our market.”
Ellis will oversee worldwide sales of Chyron’s full graphics systems product line, including the Duet family featuring the new HyperX HD/SD switchable system with powerful 3D graphics capabilities for live applications.
