New head of business development for blue

blue, part of the VTR Group, has bolstered its management team with new head of business development, Rachael Dudley.
Dudley brings 14 years’ broadcast experience to the blue team. Most recently she spent 18 months at Editworks as general manager where her she was responsible for the overall management of the company and clients. In this role her primary focus has been long-form broadcast work, working with clients such as 12 Yard Productions, Celador Productions, Avalon Television and Company Pictures.
Prior to that she held the position of head of operations and director of factual production at Alliance Atlantis, after a five-year stint at Granada International as servicing and international operations manager. Early in Dudley’s career she spent some time at as programme manager at Channel 4.
Dudley’s role at blue involves driving operational and client sides of the business to increase efficiency and grow the company by playing on its core strengths.
