DISCREET APPOINT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

DISCREET, developers of systems and software for visual effects, 3D animation, editing and broadcast, have appointed Tim Weston as Business Development Manager for advanced system products.
Based at Discreet’s central London offices, Weston reports to Patrick Jocelyn, Discreet’s Regional Manager. Weston’s areas of responsibilities include the Nordics and Benelux regions in addition to Israel, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus and South Africa.
Jocelyn said: “At Discreet, Tim will look after advanced system product sales through the dealers. We are delighted to have found somebody with his extensive experience and expertise of selling to both the broadcast and post market sectors to fill this key role within Discreet.”
Prior to joining Discreet, Weston was European Sales Manager for Oxtel Plc, where he was responsible for European sales of Oxtel’s channel branding solutions, including mixers, keyers, logo inserters and master control solutions.
Before working for Oxtel, Weston was a Business Partner Manager for Tektronix UK, and his responsibilities included managing the business relationship between Tektronix and their UK sales channels. (CD)
