Pinnacle release new TVCenter software

Pinnacle Systems has announced the release of Pinnacle TVCenter, the software that powers its entry-level PCTV internal and external range of products.
Amongst other features, Pinnacle TVCenter allows the user to access Internet radio stations, to leverage the benefit of a Teletext database to provide instant access to all pages and sub pages, and to programme the computer to shut itself off after recording.
Additionally Pinnacle TVCenter benefits users with time shifting technology with both TV and radio programmes. The user controls live TV, fast-forwards past commercials or instantly replays a scene, and can do the same kind of operations with digital and FM radio.
Pinnacle PCTV products now add DivX live TV capture. This allows the user to record directly from analogue or digital TV into DivX video format to maintain high quality and save up to 10 times more content on the same disc space than MPEG-2.
Additionally, TV can be captured in MPEG-1 format.
