Commission to support London's creative industries launched

The London Development Agency have announced the launch of a new Commission on the Creative Industries.
The LDA, the Mayor's economic arm, have established the industry-led Commission to look at ways of increasing the competitiveness of this key growth area in London's economy.
Creative Industries are London's fastest growing sector. They contribute around £21 billion to the capital's economy, employ more than half a million people and are responsible for one in five of all new jobs created in London.
The Commission will investigate practical ways to continue building on this success.
The fifteen key industry players who serve on the Commission will instigate an inquiry into the health, opportunities and restraints of each Creative Industry sector in London.
