Eyeheight announces legalEyesHDi compact legaliser

The latest addition to Eyeheight's HDi series of ultra-compact HDTV production and postproduction equipment, legalEyesHDi, is a compact 1080i HD-SDI video legaliser designed for use in mobile production vehicles, postproduction facilities and broadcast centres.
Using full 10-bit processing, it enables producers, editors and playout facilities to ensure that their videotape master feed is within the levels set for the target delivery chain or transmitter. Occupying just 1U high by half rack width, legalEyesHD has adjustable hard and soft clipping levels, independently controllable luma gain, chroma gain and black level, plus eight power-protected user memories.
legalEyesHDi is based on Eyeheight's recently-introduced evolutionDT chassis. It occupies half rack width by 1U height and incorporates an IP interface allowing easy remote interrogation and update. Capable of high-speed Ethernet control, legalEyesHDi can be interfaced easily into third-party control systems.
