ZONE VISION LAUNCH ON KOSMOS-TV

ZONE Vision, the London-based thematic channel producers and distributors, are launching the channel Reality TV and adult-oriented erotic channel Private Blue in Russia on multichannel operators Kosmos-TV.
The agreement signed for an initial five years will increase the subscribership of Zone Vision's channels in Russia, following the successful launch of Romantica, E! Entertainment and Reality TV on Russian digital platform NTV+.
Reality TV, will broadcast 18 hours a day, running from 12 midday until 18.00 CET in Russian language version. The channel comprises of a mix of fly-on-the-wall documentaries and caught on camera survival stories. In January and February Reality TV will bring viewers new episodes of ‘Ski Resort’, ‘Driving School’, ‘Sylvania Waters’ and ‘I Witness’.
There will be a special weekend devoted to the Drugs Enforcement Administration, along with regular supplies of caught-on-camera antics and reconstructed rescues.
The channel, launched across Europe in December 1999, claims to have over 5.5 million subscribers throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
It is currently available in 92 countries, and there are plans to roll it out in a number of further territories including Latin America and Asia.
Private Blue is a joint venture channel between Zone Vision and Private Media Group, the entertainment producers in Europe, which launched in April this year. Transmitting from 11.00 to 05.00 CET, the soft-core adult erotic entertainment programming will be available on subscription, pay-per-night or pay-per-month basis. The Kosmos agreement will take Private Blue to an additional territory, giving it a presence in 8 countries. (CD)
