CNBC EUROPE EXPAND OPERATIONS
CNBC Europe, 24-hour broadcasters who produce and broadcast from studios in London, have announced they are expanding their operations to cater to the increasing number of active investors across the region.
As a result of the expansion CNBC Europe are hiring a host of new anchors and journalists, as well as production and operations staff.
Jeremy Pink, Vice President of News and Programming, said: “These new additions to the newsroom are vital to the further success of the of the network in Europe and put us in an ideal position to hit the ground running as we continue to develop the programming.”
The extension of programming from Europe has also resulted in an increase in the number of cameras positioned across the region. Interviews have recently gone live from Brussels, Berlin, Frankfurt and Copenhagen - in addition to existing links in Zurich, London, Paris and Dusseldorf.
The new live links are key to CNBC Europe’s strategy which aims to continually extend their network throughout the region, enabling them to provide investors with up-to-the-second, live, market moving news and analysis.
CNBC Europe will also be setting up temporary studios at eight major business events to broadcast shows live from each venue.
A major announcement about programming developments is expected to be made at the beginning of February. (CD)
