CNBC EUROPE BROADCAST LIVE FROM WEF

CNBC Europe, 24 hour broadcasters of live business news and information, are sending 30 of their staff to broadcast live from the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
CNBC’s programme, ‘Squawk Box’, hosted by CNBC Europe’s Geoff Cutmore, will come live from the conference each weekday together with regular updates from the event throughout CNBC Europe’s regular schedule.
They will also broadcast a daily half-hour Davos 2001 special hosted by CNBC Europe’s Nigel Roberts.
In addition, for the first time ever, CNBC Europe will be the producers of the WEF’s daily programming, produced for the attendees.
Jeremy Pink, Vice President of News and Programming at CNBC Europe, said: “Davos is a very special event, nowhere else do so many of the world’s leading players meet to rub shoulders and discuss global issues. As the leading global financial network watched by the most successful operators in the world, CNBC Europe are committed to providing the most comprehensive, in depth real-time television coverage of Davos available anywhere.”
The special ‘internal’ broadcasts will feature live interviews, taken from CNBC Europe, as well as highlighting what is coming up in the conference. (CD)
