VooDooDog get Emmy nomination for ‘Peter Sellers’

London-based creative house VooDooDog, run by brothers Paul and Noel Donnellon and David Z.Obadiah, have been nominated for a PrimeTime Emmy for their animated title sequence, which opens the HBO film ‘The Life and Death of Peter Sellers’.
Paul Donnellon, Creative Director of VooDooDog, created the already multi-award wining sequence for Stephen Hopkins’ picture with characters based on Geoffrey Rush’s many portrayals of Peter Sellers.
Paul started his career working on the animated feature ‘When the Wind Blows’, directed by Irish-based Jimmy Murakami and has directed many live-action commercials and music videos, including ‘What If?’ with Kate Winslet.
Noel, Producer at VooDooDog and also a cinematographer, was previously Head of the Video Department for Steven Spielberg on ‘Saving Private Ryan’, Neil Jordan on ‘The Butcher Boy’ and for Peter Howitt on the Pierce Brosnan / Julianne Moore picture ‘Laws of Attraction’, to name a few.
David Z. Obadiah, MD at VooDooDog, started working in production for music videos and commercials. He produced over 40 commercials shooting in London, South Africa, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Turkey. He also produced ‘Human Radio’, a short dance film commissioned by Channel 4, which won the Best International Short Film Prize at the 2002 Cork Film Festival.
VooDooDog have recently finished the animated end title sequence for the
Working Title/Universal Pictures feature film ‘Nanny McPhee’, directed by
Kirk Jones (‘Waking Ned’).
The company is currently developing numerous animated and live-action projects including the children’s animated series “Kung Fu Kritters” and the live-action feature films ‘Willow House’, written by Irish writer Dickon Levinge and also ‘Ring of Roses’ by Das Petrou based on his graphic novel series.
