PUKKA LAUNCH TRIO OF PRODUCTION SUBSIDIARIES

PUKKA, developers of integrated digital media solutions based in London, have announced the launch of the Pukka Group which will be divided into three subsidiary companies: Pukka Films; Pukka Post and Pukka Web.
The Groups' Headquarters will be at the new Portland Mews building, which has just undergone a £1 million refurbishment.
Pukka Post services will include Avid, Jaleo, Digi and DS suites, streamed video and DVD production. Clients will be able to view their edits by remote access, communicate with their in-suite team via the web cam, download video on demand, or create and retrieve digital archives. All suites offer flatscreen monitors, Beta SP machines, Digital Beta machines, Digital DV machines and DLT (non-linear backup system).
Pukka Web will stream high quality video both independently and on behalf of clients. Enabling the viewing of Pukka Post edit work, via remote access, as well as web cam conferencing, Pukka Web aims to build, host and manage video portals and web sites for clients wishing to exploit the latest video streaming technology.
Created by Paul Katis in 1998, Pukka Films develops and produces broadcast programmes and feature films. This side of the business is currently developing a slate of 21 films for theatrical release through two new producers. (CD)
