Xube to make web awards video for BECTa
Xube, a Brixton based film and video production company, have been commissioned by the British Education Communications Technology and Agency (BECTa) to make the video for the UK Education Web Site Awards 2002.
“We’re delighted to be making the video of the web site award winners. When I left teaching in 1996 my school had just discovered the Internet and had bought one modem. Things have moved on a great deal since then and it will be fascinating to film what schools are achieving with the web,” said Xube producer-director Jeremy Henderson.
Xube will be shooting at winning schools and colleges across the United Kingdom during April. The final video will be shown at the award ceremony in June 2002 in London at The Guardian’s New Media Centre.
