TSL ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD APPOINTMENTS

UK BROADCAST systems integrators, Television Systems Ltd (TSL), are augmenting their Board following several years of expansion at the company.
The two founding directors, Brian Cuff and David MacGregor, are to become Chairman and Managing Director respectively.
Four new TSL Board appointments have also been made. Julian Knight becomes Director of Systems, responsible for all aspects of systems integration including design, production and installation. Tim Whittaker, as Director of Engineering, is now responsible for design and development of a growing range of individual products. Steve Rolls, appointed Director of Operations, has overall responsibility for product sales and manufacture, purchasing and all internal administration while Trevor Andrews has been appointed Director, with an open brief for design and product improvement.
Managing Director, David MacGregor, who will continue to be personally involved in sales of systems, said: “We needed to define certain responsibilities more clearly in the context of the way TSL has grown in recent years. The systems and products we produce are very often developed to our customers particular requirements, so we rely heavily on drive, personality, and people skills, in addition to technical know-how. We recognise the way our managers have contributed to the company's success so far. With their increased responsibilities, they will be better able to drive TSLs growth in line with our strategy.”
Customers within the BBC, ITV companies in the UK and television organisations worldwide will be able to continue dealing with the managers they already know and TSL maintain the new structure will improve response times, development, and customer service.
Based in Maidenhead, England, TSL where established in 1986. TSL manufactures a wide range of products for the broadcast market as well as custom equipment to individual clients specification. (GB)
