TSL Systems Showcases Project Design Services

TSL Systems has presented its project design services for studio builds at CABSAT 2017, including its recent installation of MBC's new Dubai production facility.

TSL's Dubai office provides a full design and delivery staff to deliver the latest technology for both traditional studio builds and IP-centric and cloud based workflows. The team has worked on a number of projects, and recently won the tender to design and build a new production facility in Dubai's Studio City complex for MBC, a private free-to-air satellite broadcasting company in the region.

The project involved the design and installation of three studios, two galleries, two audio control rooms, three CARs and an MCR, within a new building that was being completed simultaneously. The civil works meant that a tight timeline was likely to be impacted so to minimise this risk, the team at TSL Systems pre-built the system in a sterile environment close by and then deployed it within the facility once the civil works were completed. The system comprised of approximately 30% existing technology and 70% new systems, including equipment from manufacturers such as Avid, Axon, Clear-Com, Evertz, Sennheiser, Sony, TSL Products and Vizrt. The MBC production facility went live earlier this month.
