Piksel Appoints New Managing Directors

Piksel, Inc. has appointed two joint Managing Directors for its media and entertainment business.

Kris Brown and Kristan Bullet are to assume the new roles.

Mr Brown, former Head of Products at Piksel, and Mr Bullett, former Head of Solutions at Piksel, are to deal with the company's media and entertainment operations worldwide now. They take over from Ralf Tillmann, who is to continue in his role as Interim CEO.

"Both Kris and Kristan have been with the company for many years and have been key contributors in roles spanning professional services, product development, commercial responsibilities and more," said Mr Tillmann. "Together, I believe that they have the vision, energy and resolve to take our Media & Entertainment business to the next level."

Mr Brown, who has previously worked in-house at Comcast Technology Solutions, combines significant broadcast industry experience with a strong track record of enterprise software delivery across sectors including healthcare, financial services and the public sector. Since rejoining Piksel in 2014, he has been primarily focused on galvanising Piksel's product portfolio.

Mr Bullet, who has been with the company since 2000, worked in a range of senior architectural positions before he held his position as Head of Solutions. He played a major, hands-on role in developing services including Sky Anytime and AT&T's U-verse, and was lead architect on the development of Liberty Global's Horizon Go platform.

Their wealth of combined experience will now be brought to continue the growth of Piksel's media and entertainment offering – particularly its flagship Fuse Publisher and Fuse Metadata Manager products - across the company's core markets in Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Americas.
