INSCRIBER SHIP NEW NAMEDROPPER XL SYSTEM

INSCRIBER Technology, developers of open system-based character generators and digital graphics tools, have announced that they are shipping the new Namedropper XL system.
The US-based National Broadcasting Company and their affiliate stations will use this new video insertion graphics system. The Namedropper XL system will enable NBC and its affiliate stations to insert call letters, logos or other identification information into a network promotion or programme.
Wayne Weaver, Director, Broadcast Systems Division for Inscriber Technology Corporation, said: “NBC wished to replace their current affiliate identification tagging system with one using state-of-the-art hardware and software. Inscriber are pleased to be delivering a product with considerable new features and a future proof transition path for the affiliates.”
Offering the benefits of a system that supports future formats as well as providing improved capabilities, namedropper XL, is designed to replace the current systems in use at NBC and its affiliates. (CD)
