UK ANIMATION SHOWCASE AND REPORT ON MISX

SELECTED UK animation companies are now profiled on-line as part of a report on animation in the UK.

Jamie Hamilton, CEO and Founder of MISX, said: "From our extensive research into the UK animation industry one specific theme was encountered - animators found it very hard if not impossible to get their skills shown to agencies.
“In general terms animators found that creatives and TV producers did not understand how they could use animation and all too often relegated this art form to commercials for breakfast cereals. Yet animation offers creatives a vast canvas on which their ideas are not constrained by normal production convention. You only have to look at Studio AKA's 'eak' commercial for Orange as a perfect example."
