CHYRON AT THE PRODUCTION SHOW

AT the Production Show in London this week representatives from all four Chyron divisions demonstrated products and services spanning broadcast graphics, signal processing, routing and internet streaming alongside media design and interactive TV.
Chyron's Pro-Bel Division demonstrated products from the Clari.net streaming media range, including the latest Dualstream encoder. This Dualstream allows two separate video feeds of the same material with simultaneous support of Real Networks and Windows Media codecs.
Freeway and Eclipse were also shown from Pro-Bel's extensive routing family.
On display for the first time was the new 1U frame for the high-end ICON modular digital processing system. ICON, Chyron claim, provides comprehensive distribution, routing, processing, mixing and keying functions.
Chyron's Graphics Division demonstrated their high performance, real-time graphic platform Duet. Duet's advanced video graphics engine works in tandem with CAL, the Chyron Abstraction Layer and Chyron's powerful graphic creation and playback software Lyric.
The Streaming Services Division at the Production Show demonstrated implementation of their latest audio, video and animation technologies that aims to maximise the business and media communications for major clients around the world.
Chyron’s Interactive Division displayed enhancements to their Lyric compositing application that permit creation of both broadcast and interactive graphics for television.
David Ward, Vice President Business Development, Europe said: "Compatible with Liberate, Web TV and Microsoft TV platforms, this innovative tool enables HTML pages to be created from the same assets as the broadcast television graphics, moving the creative initiative back into the television graphics environment."
Chryon Corporation’s existing customer base is comprised of nearly all television stations and TV networks throughout Europe and North America.
