Coloured vinyl CD’s now available from Dischromatics

Dischromatics continued close association with Sony DADC has once again allowed the British company to further increase its range through the inclusion of vinyl effect discs in colours other than black, as well as the re-introduction of the pocket-sized 8cm DVD-5.
The vinyl-effect discs are perfect for audio productions and are made from coloured polycarbonate. Light-distorting grooves on the surface of the disc give the product an authentic, 'retro' feel, and even the underside is the same colour and not silver. The new colour range includes red, blue, green, purple and gold.
The 8cm DVD-5’s are very similar to the CD versions, but instead can contain up to 1.46GB of data (as opposed to 192MB on an 8cm CD-ROM). A substantial printable area combined with their small size and drive-compatibility mean that the mini-DVD-5’s are set to become the Business cards of the future.
