Framestore spots honoured at 2005 BTA Awards

The 2005 BTA Awards, held on March 10 in London's Grosvenor House, saw a bumper crop of prizes going to spots worked on by Framestore CFC.
The company's postproduction work - both VFX and Telecine - can be seen in six of the Silver Award winners, seven of the Bronze Award winners and eight of the Diploma winners.
Director Daniel Kleinman helmed all but one of the above 21 winners, highlighting the hugely successful collaboration Framestore CFC enjoys with one of the industry's leading lights. Kleinman was also honoured at the ceremony with this year's Chairman's Award.
Among Kleinman's Silver and Bronze Award-winning spots that feature Framestore CFC work were the Sony PlayStation2 series, 'Athletes', 'Porn Stars', 'Golfer', 'Traders'; the John Smith's Bitter series, 'Showstopper', 'DJ', 'Doorstep Challenge', 'Toilet'; the 'Ventriloquist' spot for the NSPCC; and the Transport for London spot, 'Sarah Rivers'.
Production company Outsider, with whom Framestore CFC have collaborated on spots for BT, the Guardian, WKD, Capital One and Mint over the last year, as well as creating the acclaimed animation in their Diploma winning spot for Renault Espace, were recognised as 'Most Successful Production Company of the Year'.
