Adam Dixon joins Pinnacle as UK Manager

Pinnacle Systems has appointed Adam Dixon to its UK team as Country Manager for Consumer Business.
Dixon will be managing the continued growth of consumer products in the UK and Irish markets.
Dixon joins Pinnacle from Hewlett Packard where for five years he fulfilled a number of pivotal roles within the retail consumer division. Prior to this, he spent a year building Hewlett Packard’s retail presence in South Africa, as Retail Country Manager.
Dixon brings to Pinnacle great expertise and experience in business development through his time at Hewlett Packard. He has a wealth of knowledge of distribution strategy and an in-depth understanding of the UK market. This will be invaluable for Pinnacle as it continues to grow and consolidate its leading global position in the consumer and hobbyist market.
At a local level, Dixon will manage the UK team as it increases retail sales in the Digital Home and DVB-T markets. In these key emerging areas Pinnacle has vast technological expertise – in autumn 2004 Pinnacle unveiled the first dual TV card ever for DVB-T and analogue TV reception. Dixon will also manage the development of customer services.
David Barnby, General Manager of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Pinnacle, said: “There are exciting times ahead for Pinnacle especially within the digital home market and we look forward to the vast knowledge and experience that Adam brings to strengthen our team and help Pinnacle lead the way forward in the years to come.”
